Friends, I believe it has been almost three weeks since the last post on this thread. Does anyone know if there has been ANY response from Stardock regarding the problems on the Krell? Any news at all, good or bad?

fdwalker, I would have to suggest that you create a new race and replace the ships with the Krell ship you wish then save the shipset and save the race as Krell alpha or something so you can tell the difference. Before saving, make sure to colour your ships the way you like them, their history etc doesn't really matter. Hopefully some one gets to the bottom of it.

Also, my files PC\Documents\My Game\GC3Crusade\Factions is where mine is.

Just an idea, can anyone at least verify file locations for me? When I sync and sub with Workshop I get a folder added here
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\226860\1722090322

This folder has the expected, Designs, Factions and ShipStyles folders.
These files are all in the corresponding Designs, Factions and ShipStyles folders at

C:\Users\fdwal\Documents\My Games\GC3Crusade

Again, all other civ downloads (and Dominion stuff), is set up the same. Just can't understand why everyone else loads except the Krell. The only file I didn't have was a Krell background image (does have a foreground image), so would think that's not a factor.

thus far the only feedback is from a developer suggesting using the opt-in for the 3.7 patch. Tried this and repeated all the aforementioned steps suggested here. Still no Krell. Just really bugging me as every other Omnibus creation works good for me, the Dominion stuff ships and all works flawlessly.

I don't think they are average even though it might look like it. They have strengths in the fact they can adapt to any situation and that they do not have any weaknesses either. They can specialize in anything they want. Yes, you can change their stats to suit your play style which is an added bonus, I'll do that myself at times when in the mood from something different. I am saying however, they aren't as average as they look.

Hm, if you want them to actually *be* average, then it's ok. :)

It's just that when I make or change (usually with copy) a species, I tend to set some non-standard values for nearly everything, which makes them feel a bit more "detailed" ... - but I guess that's a matter of taste, then. :)

I'm not sure what to tell you. Have you opened it up in Discussions under the Technical Support? You may get a response there. Anyone having the same problem can then join in so you may find a solution quicker. Under something like Civilization not working, then tell them all you have done to fix. Then, maybe drop a link to it here so any others having this problem can add to it.

Yes, I have all three expansions, still no luck. Also, still no Stardock response.
