MAIN MENU REDUX - The Way It's Meant to be Played!

Who helped our #INS2U[ins2u-mge.gameme.com] community server back in the days.

Featuring: (Insurgency-like comparison)

- removed quick connect menu layout!
- larger hostname details
- drop down menu layout with a quick look at VAC protection status and 'join server' button as well (obviously)
- replaced 'join server' button by quick connect Co-op & PvP for the addicted..
- Bigger And Better Chatbox by 'Cherebukha' (with his permission!)

TO DO LIST WITH YOUR HELP:
+ We tried dynamic text but we need some helps if it's even workable
+ Modding support enabled/disabled mention in the dropdown menu

It's even harder to fill community server especially as long as they not use regular playlist.

The ranking system is only enabled for NWI playlists which are restricting map pool to stock ones only.
I guess this is mostly why people avoid custom servers they problably prefer a xp rewarding experience to unlock stuff than a richer one with custom maps.

The other issue is how is designed the main menu,
on DOI it requires to 'browse servers' (i m not talking about legacy server but the ui tab)
that's mostly why even during steam free week end (almost 10k players) custom list was still a no man's land.

As you may imagine custom PvP is an utopia with DOI current state but i hope this add-on will helps.
if you plan to play stock maps on official playlist there will be enough active players/servers with playable ping.

If you plan to buy it for extra-life / community made content then you will be disapointed.
the main problem is how is setup default main menu UI, quick connect > browse playlist atm which is mostly why it is dying in a way.



copy file once subscribed from 'Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\447820\1720747710\main_menu_redux.vpk'
and drag and drop over 'Steam\steamapps\common\dayofinfamy\doi\custom.'
If you don't have a custom folder create one
