Mergeless Blocks

What about adding mergeless blocks? So we can have flush merge block connections but the grids are still separate (eg when the top part of the enterprise came off in Star Trek )

Glad you like it. I made this on a whim over a year ago so I could build airtight connections between ships, then ironically designed one that works in vanilla and still looks good. Glad someone is getting some use out of it.

Doh! My apologies. I should have tried the mod properly before commenting on it. The mergeless conveyor works exactly as the connector I was asking for. Thank you for a great mod

Great mod. Thank you. A really useful addition would be a mergeless connector. Your conveyor is one way and for inter-ship fuelling and moving cargo two way would be very useful, as well as only having to disengage a merge block to separate ships.

No. Large and small block grids are not compatible with merge blocks. You can attach things from different sized grids using landing gear, rotors, or connectors, but not with merge blocks.

Hello, do you think it is possible to creater a merge block at the same size which allow to merge Large and Small grids together ?

First of all, sry for my bad english, school is long time ago. I was searching for this a long time. there was a simmilar mod, that does this.

This is a mod containing blocks that let you create docking connections using merge blocks, that don't require connectors. Because the mounting point is missing from the faces of these blocks, when you disconnect the merge block, the two part will separate because these blocks won't stick. I'll post some more pictures that might make it a bit clearer.
