Lol, it is not just you. ;) I intended that to be there, but not overly noticeable. Was much more skull-like in earlier version. (Occasionally when I glance at the map, I see more of a cartoonish panda than a skull for some reason.) But meant to be there as an ominous warning of the danger of being in that spot, where a hole so easily forms and becomes a death pit.

do i see a skull or is it just me?
