To turn it off type ecw_ammolimit 0
This also works with all weapons from Extra Customizable weaponary.

Now your friends won't spawn 9999999 5.56 ammo and fire a M249 at you for 10 minutes straight.

Thought this was un-needed, until I spammed at a Joker Ammo vending machine for about 2 minutes.
