A Venator-Class Star Destroyer from Star Wars. A Mid Game destroyer designed for heavy combat against Rebel forces and fighters while also serving as a carrier and anti-fighter ship. Built under 14k blocks with medium armor covering delicate internals. Includes 8 slots for heavy turbolasers, 12 for light turbolasers, and 6 for PDCs. Stats are in the screenshots.

The Venator-class Star Destroyer, also known as a Republic attack cruiser or Jedi Cruiser, was a dagger-shaped capital ship used by the Galactic Republic Navy for ship-to-ship combat, capital ship escort, and fighter carrying against the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars.

Having eclipsed the Republic's diplomatic frigate, the attack cruiser faced the Separatist dreadnoughts in some of the most well-known battles of the Clone Wars, including those of Sullust, Christophsis and Coruscant. Read more @Wookieepedia[starwars.fandom.com]

Not really sure, might be unlikely. I haven't really been making stuff in avorion recently as it's not a focus for me right now.

as a starwars nerd i must say thank you for all the hard work you have done but i must ask do you have any plans for doing an imperial class star destroyer?

Hm, thats good you were able to get around that. I'm not sure how i can fix it on here though. Guess ill need to check with size 3 turrets.

@Arkon-83, so i figured out the problem. The turret designs are too large for the turret base, so the turret size of 3 was too large for the turret base. I just had to scale it down and it worked.

@Arkon-83 What grid sizing do you use when placing the turrets? and i do make sure they are the appropriate sizes for the design, but maybe i am missing something. This is also run on a singleplayer world.

@TechnoNinja, Interesting, i haven't had any problems with turret placement anywhere so far. Is it possible you're turrets are too large for the slot? Also are you running this on a server? I wonder if that would change anything about this ship.

I know that there are sliders on the left hand side of the screen for the build menu, however, no matter what configuration i try, turrets will not snap into place. As much as this design is cool and downright badass, changing the grid snapping will not work unless i remove surrounding blocks to get rid of intersections.

Well i tried to make any sense with that building menu, it is a horrible nightmare. When i change to snap in the middle the turret doesn't fit, no matter the slider. When i switch to anything ells it won't snap in place (local and global snap doesn't do anything), and when i find a place that they can fit they are not in line. The slider is in 0.05 position.

Theres a slider in the editor tools on the left hand side of the screen when you are in building mode that changes how large of a distance a block or turret can be placed. Reducing it should allow for more precision of placing the turrets on the ship. Theres two sliders, one is for block scaling and the other is for grid snapping. Change the one for grid snapping.
