Royal Longbowmen
"Tournament archers and War Veterans are selected to carry the kings banners and hail the enemy in a storm of arrows."

Bretonnian society leaves little room for glory and honour amongst archers, as it is seen as cowardly. However, it is the duty of the King of the Realm to ensure the protection of his people and archer tournaments bring out the best in the peasantry. Those deemed worthy are given the honour of becoming Royal Longbowmen, a full-time military position that demands discipline and honour, and so these qualities are forced upon these peasants by the nobility!


Royal Longbowmen Traits:
• Does not effect the Peasant Economy
• You may only recruit and field up to 8 groups of this unit at a time in either campaign or custom battles.
• Decent stats for an archer: has 190 range!
• Trades well with other archers thanks to armour and 20% protection to physical attacks.

That's because the unit files are already in the new definitive edition so that its compatible with the other one. Id reccomend just unit the unit pack version if you want this unit.

So for some reason this mod was crashing the game when I started using your brand new definitive bretonnia overhaul, just wanted to let you know. I love your work!

The outfits are men at arms bodies with errant knight heads.
And sorry, i won't be changing the voices since they are still meant to be peasants - I know its not what you wanted to hear :(

Thank you for the quick response. Sorry to bother but would it be possible to have them in french? I mean they look great whether they wear lyonesse or bretonnia colours, they act very well on the battlefield as well (their animations look gorgeous). I would have loved to play with them in one of my campaigns. By the way which unit did you copy to create their outfit?
