Gendarmerie nationale by vilgard92

Inspired by the famous police station of St Tropez made popular in the movies "The Gendarme of Saint-Tropez" with Louis De Funès in the 60s. It's just an inspiration. The building is not 100% faithful to the original but it is voluntary.


The Gendarmerie is a French strength of police asked to watch the maintenance of law and order and the execution of the laws. Contrary to the policemen, his members are servicemen.
The Gendarmerie is one of the most former French institutions.

In France large cities are a matter of the police, the rural, outer-urban areas and the small and average cities are a matter of the gendarmerie.

Thank you! I like making greek rural or island maps and cities. My ability to model is terrible and my texturing can cause ppl brain cancer ... so i am entirely dependant on ppl who make mediterranean europian looking assets. This police station looks perfect for a greek build, ive actually seen a police station of the same architecture in a village.

@techstepman : cars are not included. I'll make a generic police station with this building soon...

if you remove the signs in french and the cars this will work well as a general europian police department...i would use it as a greek one.
