4 Point Manual Turntable

描述
At Pulchritudo Industries, we strive for improvement as well as detail; each and every single product is meticulously designed with same care and high standard for quality.

As the Baron himself famously said, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder"
________________________________________________________________________________

Want to be able turn your locomotives around but not got the space for a rail wye? Well look no further!

This simple yet elegant turntable will flip your engines around in no time; simply paste the blueprint wherever you want, connect it to your track and it's ready for action!
It even comes with 4 connection points for whatever your needs might be!

A cheap, easy and dare we say quaint little addition to anyone's railway!
________________________________________________________________________________

Operating instructions;

1. Move the desired locomotive onto the turntable; make sure all the locking arms are firmly clasping the locking blocks.

2. Once on, make sure that your engine is stationary and will NOT start moving on its own.

3. Go to a locking arm and activate the locking catchblock as shown in slides 2 and 3.
(Barons tip; "You can reach both catchblock locks by crouching so you can make this step a little quicker; everyone has their own method!")

4. Lift the locking arm via the hand crank and then let it drop into its unlocked position as shown in slides 4 and 5.
(Barons tip; 'The cranks have been positioned so you only have to press F instead of messing about with SHIFT and F.')

5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 on all locking arms until the whole turntable is unlocked shown in slide 6.

6. Start pushing the turntable to whichever locking point you wish for the engine to be pointing as shown in slides 7 and 8.

7. Once your locomotive is facing the desired direction, drop one locking arm by unlocking one catchblock lock and push the locking arm hard against the locking block as shown in slide 10.
(Barons tip; "To save time, drop one locking arm early when you have just pushed the turntable past the locking block as shown in slide 9 so then you can make this step work more smoothly.")

8. Secure the turntable by unlocking the adjacent catchblock lock and letting the locking arm drop; you may need to push the turntable about a little to get the locking arm to fully rest in the correct position so it holds onto the locking block firmly as shown in slide 11.
(Barons tip; "Depending on how heavy or what size your engine is, you can skip step 9 to save time.")

9. Repeat step 8 on the other end of the turntable so all four locking arms are in place and secure; make sure that your engine is aligned with the fixed track as shown in slide 12.
(Barons tip; "It's best not to skip this step if your loco is big and/or heavy; the engine might affect how the turntable is lined up to the track.")

10. Once all aligned, push or drive your locomotive off the turntable slowly and back onto the track.

Congratulations; you have successfully turned your engine around!

NOTE: Some engines will be easier than others to move on and off of the turntable; this is due to rail bogies only being able to function when upon the track designed for it. This means you may have to adjust the engine when on the turntable to be able to move and and off the turntable.

WARNING: Make sure at all times your locomotive and turntable is secure when rotating, moving onto or off of the turntable. Failure to do so may allow for accidents as demonstrated in slide 13.

Honorable mention:

For those who have more than enough materials and require something a little more advanced, then a motorised turntable might be the thing for you!
