With a balanced turret compliment, the Blackbird is a dogfighter designed for head on engagements. Combining an auto repair system, decoys and a well-protected bridge, the Blackbird can outlast larger destroyers and outmanoeuvre smaller frigates.

The ship has everything a mobile base needs and is built around two spacious hangers to store all your creations. [100% vanilla but make sure you enable scripts]

*If you’re interested, the vector mode combines two different scripts. Vermillion’s excellent vector thrust script is the core with some rotor limits and customisations to stop the ship eating itself. The trick comes in adding a second script from Whiplash141. This allows each nacelle to fire thrusters in four different directions simultaneously – making it far more manoeuvrable. I have no programming knowledge so feel free to tell me if I’ve created a monster.
