描述
Play through some recreations of Sonic 1 (Master System/Game Gear) levels in this 2D-ish level!


Made for the Retro Modding Jam in the Discord channel.


The original intention was to do all the way up to Sky Base, but due to time constraints it only goes up to the start of Labyrinth Zone. I may come back to do the rest another time, we'll see.


Requires no particular hats, but it's also not balanced around any of them so you're probably gonna break the level in interesting ways with certain hats!


There may still be some optimization issues, so beware of that.


Textures and music belong to Sega of America, but the modelling and UVmapping etc is all original work.


Special thanks to Bonicle for helping to set the 2d pathing up correctly.

Shoutouts to Starschulz and Weegee for general assistance.

Super creative!!! the weights are a fun way to vertically traverse and the logs are a super fun mechanic! The difficulty is in a nice sweet spot and the branching paths allow for good times and more replayability. Really good job!! :er_heart:

Genuinely one of my favourite user-made levels for this game. Loved it.

Shame you never went back and did the last few levels though... hey ho, I'll treasure what we have.
