描述
MANY YEARS AGO PRINCE DARKNESS "GANNON" STOLE ONE OF THE TRIFORCE WITH POWER. PRINCESS ZELDA HAD ONE OF THE TRIFORCE WITH WISDOM. SHE DIVIDED IT INTO 8 UNITS TO HIDE IT FROM "GANNON" BEFORE SHE WAS CAPTURED. GO FIND THE REMAINING UNITS "HAT KID" TO SAVE HYRULE.

Explore through a recreated dungeon from the original Legend of Zelda! Made for the 2019 Retro Modding Jam!

  • Faithful recreation of the first dungeon from the Original Legend of Zelda
  • Two Acts and Two custom bosses
  • Custom soundtrack by Crashtroid!

Notes
This level was made with single-player in mind, while Co-op won’t outright break the map. To get the true experience I would recommend going solo.

This mod was made in three days for the modding jam, it was painful.

im getting a conflict cause the map name is chapterinfo.upk could you please rename the map so it doesnt conflict with other mods that use the same name tho other mods really shouldnt do it either in the first place

Id say the ganon fight takes too long, even in god mode

Pls avoid naming the map just chapterinfo.upk (either case like case, Case, or cAsE) as it will conflict with other mods damn I cannot tell which anymore because there are too many of them that do that! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!
Either rename to something else OR append/prepend the file name with random typing stuffs

Also, I suppose I should mention that I tested it multiple times to be certain that it was this level that caused it, and got the same result with the keys, having done only this level then going to pick up a key in mafia town (specifically level 4).

Gotta say, I definitely enjoyed this mod! The boss was especially enjoyable. Although, something I noticed (not sure if anyone commented on this already), picking up keys in this mod seems to break keys in other mods/vanilla levels. I assume something about how keys are handled in this level causes you to not actually hold keys anymore in other levels, thus causing the game to think you haven't collected a key. This isn't a huge deal, as it can be fixed simply by relaunching the game (at least in my experience anyways), but I figured it was worth mentioning. This little detail has no bearing on my rating of this mod however, as I quite enjoyed playing it!

I've found that defeating enemies and the boss of the first level is a lot easier if you use the Brewing Hat.

This is really good! Defeating the enemies/bosses is a little difficult for me, but overall it's a nice mod. And the top-down perspective is a nice choice! I'd love to see more mods like this!
