描述

Replace Zoey voiceline with L4D Arcade Survivor Sara Kirishima(CV:Miyuki Sawashiro)
Rochelle Version

To use with
Tiny King Sara Kirishima

Install Instruction

1. Make backup of this files

(C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2_dlc2\sound\player\survivor\voice\teengirl)

and

(C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2_dlc3\sound\player\survivor\voice\teengirl)

2. Install GCFscape Download [gamebanana.com]

3. Open GCFscape, navigate to this vpk

(C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons\workshop\1681502772.vpk)

(Might need to restart Left 4 Dead 2 and let it download for it to appear)

4. Extract and replace all files to

(C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2_dlc2\sound\player\survivor\voice\teengirl)

and

(C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2_dlc3\sound\player\survivor\voice\teengirl)

5. Open Left 4 Dead 2 and open console by pressing ~

(Enable dev console first by pressing Options->Keyboard/Mouse->Allow Developer Console-Enable)

then type "snd_rebuildaudiocache;snd_updateaudiocache;quit" without quote

-Game should quit automatically after it finished rebuilding the audiocache
should be around 3 to 5 minute depending on your computer spec.

6. Done. You should now hear her voice without any problems.

Uninstalling

Unsubscribe and simply restore the backup you've made and open the console ~ then type "snd_rebuildaudiocache;snd_updateaudiocache;quit"

You can also restore the original sound by going to your

Steam Client->Library->Games->Right click Left 4 Dead 2->Properties->Local Files->Verify Integrity of Games files.

Note - Some Zoey voiceline can still be heard

**Temporary Workaround if you don't want to hear Zoey**
1.Create a new folder name backup inside

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2_dlc1\sound\player\survivor\voice

2.Move "teengirl" folder there to your backup folder.

3.Rename the original sound.cache to _sound.cache from

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2_dlc1\sound

This is done to avoid having to rebuild the sound.cache everytime you want to play as Sara without some static noise

4.Open console type "snd_rebuildaudiocache;snd_updateaudiocache;quit"

5.Play any campaign except The Passing.

6.Restore if you want to play The Passing or you won't be able to hear any original dialogue from Zoey. Don't forget to rename back the original sound.cache and keep the new sound.cache as a different name so you don't have to do step 4.
