"The M247 General Purpose Machine Gun (also known as the Machine Gun, Caliber 7.62x51mm, or M247) is a lighter variant of the M247H Heavy Machine Gun. It is designed to fire smaller 7.62mm rounds, but despite this, the M247 can punch a hole through just about anything. While the M247 is often carried by UNSC Support Infantry in the field, it can also be mounted on to a stationary base, allowing it to function as both an offensive and defensive support weapon.

With a dependable rate of fire, low recoil, and surprising stopping power, the M247 is the staple of any UNSC Infantry squad, and saw a great deal of action during the Insurrection."

"Operation: Trebuchet" is a large-scale project for Garrys Mod, with the creation of high-quality assets in mind, inspired by the "Eridanus Insurrection" mod for ARMA 3. While initially being it's own, standalone server with custom content, the project has grown into a past-time of mine, with assets being released to the general public for their own entertainment.

This is a SWEP, created from a kitbash of several different Halo models. It is a work in progress, so it's not perfect, but it gets the job done and looks enough of the part. Built on the TFA Base.

Features:

>Fully working, dynamic radial ammo counter.
>Custom-made weapon sounds, and textures.
>Fully animated reload sequences, movement, etc etc.
>World and view model, including "smart scope"-esque sights.
>C-Hands Compatibility.
>Unique Variant (because why not lol - but might lag/crash on lower end computers. This puppy has 3000rpm).

Requirements:
>TFA BASE<
The only real requirement for this to work. Without it, the SWEP is basically non-functional, because... Well, yknow. There's no base for it.

Credits:
Meh - Initial mesh edits.
Devon - Ammo counter graphics.
Mackaye99 - Finalized mesh edits, texture work, SWEP, and sound work.
343 Industries/Bungie - Initial Halo assets.

This asset is provided as-is, and is free to use by all. However, I ask that you do not repackage, reupload, or take assets from this pack without my express permission.

Hmm. I'll look into that - but it might be a problem with TFA and how it handles world models, not sure.

OPTRE on Arma 3 is fucking awesome, and now we get some of that awesomeness in Garry's mod. Consider me inthused.
