During the late 1880's, the region known as the North-West Territories in the Dominion of Canada began to have the Canadian Pacific railroad cut across the prairies towards the Rockies. Today, the cities and towns that have grown across the prairie provinces of Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba are home to over 6 million Canadians.

This map features major cities including Winnipeg, Brandon, Regina, Moose Jaw, Saskatoon, Edmonton, Calgary, Drumheller and Lethbridge. Many other smaller towns in between including Medicine Hat, Red Deer, Lloydminster, Prince Albert, Yorkton, Dauphin, Portage la Prairie.

Andrew Spearin is an award-winning game designer and director as the cofounder of Insurgency. He is currently a professor at Mohawk College in Hamilton, Ontario. He's spent eight years of his life on the prairies, living in Saskatoon.
