Flexible Intersections v0.9.2

Flexible Intersections provides more intelligent lane mapping for intersections to avoid traffic congestion.

Normal road intersections in Transport Fever allow cars to go from any lane to any other lane in the intersection, so you get cars turning right from the left lane, left from the right lane, and changing lanes mid-intersection when going straight. Flexible Intersections restricts turning to either the leftmost or rightmost lane (exception: trams/buses can turn left from the bus lane).

Flexible Intersections also avoids the other intersection bottleneck, pedestrians crossing the road, by providing pedestrian underpasses.

Each road direction can have an independent number of lanes, lane width, tram track, etc. A road direction can be omitted entirely by setting the number of lanes to zero.

Optional bus stops can be added to any road direction, on either/both sides of the road (up to 8 bus stops for the intersection). They will show as terminals for the intersection as a whole rather than individual bus stops.

Flexible Intersections can be configured as either a regular straight intersection, or as a roundabout. Traffic throughput will likely be a little higher with the straight Crossing style.

Note: this mod is functional, if not pretty. If any modder would like to contribute some assets to make this look nicer, let me know.
