Previously Known As Custom Character Index

This Mod allows you to fully customize your Characters stats. You can also optionally add up to 5 Unique Abilities and 3 Crafting Filters to tailor your gameplay experience. Whether you're looking to create a powerful character, experiment with new challenges, or streamline your crafting experience, this mod lets you shape the game exactly how you want it.

Modded Characters: Supported!
Don't Starve Version: Not Planned.

Modded Character are SUPPORTED!
1. Open Don't Starve Together Steam Folder.
2. Find and Open Mods Folder. (Steam\steamapps\common\Don't Starve Together\mods)
3. Find and Open workshop-1676327337 Folder.
4. Open characters_module.lua with Notepad.
5. Fill Lines.
6. Done!
WARNING: After Each Mod Update characters_module.lua may and probably will erase itself! (Make it read-only)

Ask me before editing my mod!

I'm Crashing! What do I do?
1. Try setting "Tweaks" value of a character to "Disabled", if the crashing stops - proceed to next steps. If it doesn't stop - your other mods are causing the crashes.
2. Locate Documents/Klei/DoNotStarveTogether/
3. Copy the text of master_server_log.txt and insert it to pastebin dot com.
4. Send the link in the comments with / being seperated by two spaces like this: pastebin / id
5. ALTERNATIVE: In the master_server_log.txt find the following line: "LUA ERROR stack traceback" and send everything that goes afterwards.

Could you please make a compatibility update? There is a mod that makes Maxwell no longer able to read Wickerbottom's books, so I was wondering if it's possible for you to change that with your mod. I tried to change this with your mod but it was causing the server to close as soon as I select Maxwell as a character.

i dont think this mod will be updated any time soon because apparently the dev was perma banned, but the mod still works as of writing this all except for adding insight points per day

The x2 item durability is giving WAY more than x2 durability. A log suit I crafted has over 5000 health with it enabled.

For some reason, Wortox is always considered a monster even with his monster tag disabled in this mod's configurations. It could have something to do with his skill tree. I'm not sure though.

Thanks! I've fixed it, plus one similiar issue. v5.0.4 Bugfix is now out :cozybethesda:

So I've narrowed it down. It is if I add the "Full Battleborn" ability to Wortox it crashes. Without that ability on him, it is seeming to work as intended.

Alternatively try setting "Tweaks" of Wortox to "Disabled" and see if it's still crashing. If it does - my mod is not the problem.
