Experimental Scorpion

描述
The Experimental Scorpion is a powerful unit that fills the gap between Spider and Hovertank. The Scorpion has the firepower of the Spider, but lacks the ability to construct and repair. This makes the Experimental Scorpion more focused on offence rather than support or defense. In place of a shield or laser defense, it wields Experimental Armor, negating damage taken. though it can be destroyed by either rapid or overwhelming firepower (as it takes at least 5 damage every hit, unless the shot is less than 5 or more than 20). It is still beaten by the Experimental Spider in direct combat, but it only costs $50000 instead of $70000, making it balanced for it's role. So download now and make the Experimental Spider Vanilla in your play-session!

Change Log:
- Reduced price from $50000 to $45000
- Increased turn rate from 0.5 to 0.85

I don't want to change the health or dps just yet because i don't want it to beat the spider.

i like the idea of the tesla part of it... to help penetrate shields, but it's a little too weak for its cost and mobility. it's mobility makes it easy to flank, and it doesn't have the health or turn radius to really do anything about it. It can barley beat a shieleded hover tank in a 1v1, which isn't good considering its over double the price. id make it able to turn a little bit faster, and up its health and tesla fire rate.

I didn't know about Zero-K until now. but i made this with the 40k brass scorpion and other sci-fi scorpion mechs as reference. but what i made was my own design (as in i didn't copy anything from anywhere).

though looking at it from a distance, it is kinda funny how many "scorpion" units exist across games.
