@Major Spray... Sorry, I only just saw your comment there.
Yes, the hitch is actually 3 separate grids. You have to paste the whole thing into a creative world, then detach all the pieces & save them as BP's.
Then in Survival, you build each piece separately from the truck & use another vehicle to move them into place & attach them. They cannot be built in place using a projector.
It IS possible to build in Survival - I've done it many times. You just need to get imaginative to find solutions to the barriers the game throws up.
Also - don't try to connect it all together with merge blocks or it'll explode. The hitch uses a double rotor for the tilt mechanism. It will cause you untold problems if you try to merge the various grids.
Instead, you need to detach the rotors & build it in 2 pieces.
Basically like @morganpaul22 says - paste it into a creative world, enter the control panel and select "Detatch" on the 2 rotors named "Hitch Tilt Rotor".
You can then move the tractor & trailer apart and blueprint them each separately.
When you come to build it in Survival mode you'll need to build each blueprint on its own, then move them into position so the detached rotors line up and hit "Attach" in the control panel.
I just built it in my new survival game too. It's getting its first proper field testing with me at the same time as you.
Haven't found much Ice so far & have only just finished building a Hydrogen tank to refuel it from, so been relying on batteries & solar up til now (nice & sunny where I'm based).
The batteries seem to have enough power for about 8-10Km out & back (with varying input from solar) before output starts pinking.
Initial tests of the engine is giving me some conflicting results though. First trip out with a full tank & no ice, I clocked 1Litre per second consumption but the tank was empty within 2 minutes. The Hydrogen seemed to suddenly go missing. One second I had loads & consumption was normal, then it's like the game just deleted it all.
