I added a savegame file with the ship in it for those of you who can't spawn the blueprint as a whole.
This ship consists of one main grid and 4 subgrids. So there's no chance to project the blueprint in survival.

I found that my M1000 Treasure Hunter doesn't look with the UCU platform and its general design. So I took the rotating drill head and built a new ship behind it.

The M5 Mining Drill:

- rotating drills
- 3 large cargo containers
- large reactor
- 2 oxygen tanks
- 1 oxygen genrator
- space only
- regular connector
- another connector working as ejector for stone
- first sorter will drain all ores from the drills into the cargo containers
- second sorter will drain all stones into the ejector
- it has no landing gears because it is not supposed to land anywhere. It's a space-born vessel, bringing ores to space stations or cargo ships.

Usage:

Button 1: Regular Connector on/off
Button 2: Switch Lock
Button 3: Drills on/off
Button 4: Rotors on/off
Button 5: Rotor Locks on/off
Button 6: Ejector on/off
Button 7: -
Button 8: -
Button 9 (as always): Thrusters on/off

Due to unsafe-grids then i have to switch to experimental build. which i don't want to.
Guess i'll have to find or build one myself :-/

The problem ist, that the Drill-Part itself consists of 4 grids. So you would need 5 blueprints to build the whole ship in survival.

Best you can do is spawn the whole ship in creative mode and study it there so you know how I made it.

Would it be possible to add it seperately as another blueprint? Just so that i know how to build it. basically, make it as 2 BP's instead of 1

subgrids can't be projected. So everything mounted on a rotor or piston will not be projected. Can't change that.

I've subbed to this ship, but noticed that the drills doesn't appear when you load this bluwprint into a projector. How have you build those?

reminds me of my suuri kokooja mining and refining barge. i like it.
