Gathering Storm compatible!

Production From Population
This mod is intended to be a buff to Tall play. Every citizen in your city will passively produce Production (similarly to Science and Culture).

The result is that it becomes much more worthwhile to grow larger cities ("tall"), especially as the game goes on. This also addresses late-game pacing issues, in which you research new Technologies and Civics quite quickly, but as your cities produce expensive things, you have little opportunity to actually use them.

Formula
  • 0.5 Production baseline from each citizen
  • Citizens yield an additional 0.05 Production for each additional citizen
  • Citizens yield an additional 0.1 Production for each game era after the Ancient Era

This mod was wholly inspired by an idea that the Youtuber PotatoMcWhiskey proposed in this video. All credit for the idea goes to him.

Compatibility
I created this mod to buff Tall play and improve gameplay balance.

I recommend you use it with my other mod, Improved Specialists. It also pairs well with Rebalanced Mines.

@Tavernicus I could've worded that better, but I assumed people would understand the message. Clearly not. The mod was there from the beginning. I was just making it clear that once the SAVE FILE has the mod on it, the mod can not be removed from that SAVE FILE. The mod was there from the beginning. If you've played as much modded civ as I have, you would know that some mods CAN be removed from a save file.

Do not use if you intend to play on Multiplayer. Causes desync, and once it gets added to a save it can not be removed.
