ArmaForces - FFAA CBA Mag Compat

Just to let you know ffaa was updated last month incluiding the support of CBA Magwell and Magazine Proxies compatibility natively.

CUP always tries to do stuff same way or as close as possible to vanilla, they are the best reference IMHO. RHS stuff usually does not play so nicely with other addons so do not base your stuff on them.

I think CUP magazines are best aligned to vanilla weapons so this should be good base/standard.

I'm just looking for some kind of standarization between mods because I have to figure out how to position the 3d model into the magazine proxy in order to fit my magazine in 3rd party mods. Unfortunately It looks like there is no normalization on this ... So I'll use CUP as reference as I think there is more chance people use CUP more frecuenctly than others 3rd party mods using the same magazinewell.

I used CBA magwells only (didn't even look at available vanilla ones) as I thought more people use CBA magwells than vanilla ones. And I had straightforward list of them instead of figuring them on my own. Vanilla ones could be added beside CBA ones.

I don't really know why i choose CBA_762x51_AICS instead of CBA_300WM_AICS for ffaa_762x51_accuracy. Maybe I was looking for calibre and didn't realize 300WM is the same. I had such situation while creating CBA magwells for KA Weapons I think that I used other designation of ammunition and it was already defined under different name.

Yeah, if FFAA will support magwells natively it would be nice to let us know so we can change mod's name/description to show people that it is no longer needed.

btw, Why CBA_762x51_AICS instead of CBA_300WM_AICS for ffaa_762x51_accuracy?
Or CBA_556x45_STANAG instead of the vanilla STANAG_556x45 for ffaa_556x45_cedmel? I'm just trying to understand how vanilla and other mods implemented this

Didn't know this was updated to SW. I'm currently implementing the new Magazine Proxy system to ffaa so this is natively supported. Good work!.
