A lot of larger buildings will need 1024, but with this one it's a very simple texture, no brickwork, not too much detail or variation, and so a lower res 512x512 texture works just fine even though it's a large building.
Good to hear you're working on more buildings :-)
If you want, you can send me a friend request and show me the texture so i can look at it and keep that in mind for my next building which is similar to this.
