Sediment Valley

Hey Everyone,

Welcome to my new map, Sediment Valley. My inspiration for this map was to create a map that resembles the sediment layered cliffs you see in the Southwestern United States in places such as the Grand Canyon, The Valley of Fire, and Zion National Park. I've found that desert maps are very limited in this workshop and I have yet to find anything that even comes close to resembling what I am aiming for, so I decided to make my own custom map and theme and share it with those of you who are interested. Formed by millions of years of erosion, Sediment Valley is home to dramatic mountain peaks, sheer cliffs, and greatly varied terrain. If you like desert maps, you don't want to miss this one!

Some features of this map include:
-Functional wind farm that produces electricity in your save game once you connect it to your city
-Solar array that will produce electricity as well
-Pivot arm irrigation
-Realistic and detailed river system and drainage basins
-Area of cliffs resembling the Grand Canyon that would be perfect for the Park Life expansion pack
-Functional highways and custom made intersections with working road and rail connections
-Mountain top radio tower
-Stone Sediment Valley sign flanking the mountainside as you drive through the valley on the highway
-Usable natural resources
-*this map does not have shipping connections*

Some things to consider:
-This map is designed to be played with all 81 tiles
-This map is intended to be used in combination with my custom theme, Geologic Sediment by Kent
-For best results, I recommend using the Sunday LUT
-This map has over 1 million trees. It's not the most friendly map to lower spec machines
