Thanks for the suggestion MrGK. I ignored all the old "expert" advice (about never using towers cause they're not worth it) and took yours - I built nothing but towers by the hundreds, plugging up the whole choke point with snipers and Thanatos behind the original wall (beefed up). It worked ok at the end although the game bogged down to a crawl. Ended up killing 130K or so zombies. Seemed like a lot more.

Greetings Sir. Made several more attempts. I appreciate the effort you put into this map, however the final wave is quite unreasonable. Anytime the lag overwhelms the game (and I have a great rig), the game is simply no longer fun. There is no reason in the world to have such a large number. There seems to be a large number of map authors who consider it a personal challenge against all other players when they publish their maps. "You'll never beat my map," seems to be the running thought. I say again, it ruins the fun of the game. I suppose some folks enjoy a lagged computer where 1 hour in game literally becomes one hour real-time. If I have to build thousands of units to fight fight an unending horde, it ruins any continued play. I hope you'll consider tweaking "easy peasy" down significantly. I had fun until the last wave. Thanks again for your efforts.

When the first wave came, I forgot to pull the electricity to the door, which was a bit of a loss, but this map is suitable for novices to play, the pressure is not great, that is development. No shortage of food, not too much thermal power, I trained 3000 + snipers and 170 gods of death. The last wave was a bit fierce, but there was no pressure ahead. Don't think too much about the last wave of zombies. Killing 100 snipers and 50 big guys would be overwhelming. I don't want to build any walls. They're all stone towers, from the entrance to the map boundary. The snipers who did not climb the tower and all the gods of death started the mode of annihilation and waited for the last wave to come. Put more warehouses, don't rush to the ore, wait for the first wave of electricity to pull to the door to pick up the ore. Pay attention to getting more wood to pull electricity. All in all, a very simple map.

第一波来的时候我忘了拉电到门口,有点吃亏,不过这个图适合新手玩,压力不大,就是发展。不缺食物,火电不要太多,我训练了3000+的狙击手和170个死神。最后一波有点凶,不过前面没啥压力,最后一波僵尸就别想太多,杀了我100个狙击手和50个大佬就顶不住了。我墙都不想建造,直接全都是石塔,从门口一直建造到地图边界。没上塔的狙击手和所有死神开歼灭模式,就等最后一波过来了。多放点仓库,不要着急去那矿石,第一波打完等电拉到门口的时候再去拿矿石。注意多拿点木头,拉电需要。总而言之,非常简单的一个图。

Maybe uncovered a bug/feature when the game starts to bog down due to the sheer absurd number of zombies. Seems my hundreds of thanatos/snipers/titans weren't killing near what they should be (which means I lose every time). At the end, with massive defenses, I only killed about 100K zombies. In some of the tough "official" games (which don't bog down my awesome computer (much)) my defenses killed over 250K. My guess is the sheer number of shambling dead are just overwhelming the frequency of fire/lethality calculations of the game. I noticed far fewer rockets being visually launched that there should have been. Or... did the difficulty jack up the zombie armor to make them super tough? Anybody else feel the same? Or am I just really bad at super swarms?

It looked promising, but "easy peasy" is not what I experienced. It was enjoyable right up until day 20, and then game over. Three playthroughs, different strategy each time.

Yes, it's likely I'm missing some key bit of min-maxxing required to get enough upgrades AND units in place by day 20, as evidenced by the fact that others report having beaten the map.

I appreciate the time you put into it, but I want the time *I* put into it back now.
