描述

Two small ship Assemblers with reduced speed, inventory capacity and power consumption (while working) than the vanilla large ship/station version. Reduced cost and slightly higher power consumption while idle.

Two small ship Refineries with reduced speed, inventory capacity and power consumption (while working) than the vanilla large ship/station version. Reduced cost and slightly higher power consumption while idle.
More details below.

Excellent for Respawn ships or other type of emergency crafts.

Sizes - 3x3x5 and 3x3x3


Different construction requirements and times for different blocks.


Standby Power Consumption - 5kW (Vanilla = 1kW) for all blocks.

Small Assembler:
Operational Power Consumption - 350kW (Vanilla = 560kW)
Inventory Volume - 500l
Assembly Speed - 60% of vanilla

Small Refinery:
Operational Power Consumption - 350kW (Vanilla = 560kW)
Inventory Volume - 500l
Refine Speed - 60% of vanilla
Material Efficiency - 60% of vanilla

Compact Assembler:
Operational Power Consumption - 250kW (Vanilla = 560kW)
Inventory Volume - 300l
Assembly Speed - 40% of vanilla
No access to Large Grid category in the production menu.

Compact Refinery:
Operational Power Consumption - 250kW (Vanilla = 560kW)
Inventory Volume - 300l
Refine Speed - 40% of vanilla
Material Efficiency - 40% of vanilla

Would be nice to have 1x1x1 variants which half the power per second of the other variants, which to need a lot more time than the time you would need by dividing the time by the volume in small-blocks of the full-size variants, which to only cost resources found in a survival kit.

And it would be nice to have a 1x1x1 survival kit, too, with the same changes in ratios of energy usage and processing time.

Is this mod still supported?

Also, do the two sizes equate to "basic refinery/assembler" and "advanced refinery/assembler"?

The small assembler doesn't seem to be able to make ammo for turrets. Is it supposed to be this way, or am I just getting some kind of mod conflict?

Great mod, works well and looks good. I always prefer building with small grid and this makes it easier to build full featured ships at a small scale.

I have always liked this mod, as I have liked all the "Medium" block mods. I rarely used them though because of the green letters and lines. I much prefer mods that follow the core aesthetic of the game.

I used this so much back in the day. However it's time to finally part ways.

Great mod. Fairly sure it still works too. Replaced unceremoniously by survival kit.

Would it be possable to make a version of this mod, where the compacts act like basic versions and the smalls act as fulls? In regards to the tech tree I mean.
