Dynamic Combat Ops - Mogadishu

Try making a new mission called Dynamic Combat Ops - (insert map name) paste the assets from the eden editor into it. Then back into your template folder, just copy all the contents inside (except mission.sqf) and paste it into the new mission folder and save. That always works for me.

I've gotten it to load in editor, but it does not play as DCO.

G.O.S Dariyah, and I had no DCO mission in the exact spot you specified in step 1. I used common sense to find it somewhere else in documents, though. I did copy the DCO mission from malden 2035 into missions, but it didn't show up in the editor, it only showed in the scenarios, but a different color other than the workshop color. If you could make a video sometime that is short and no commentary, that would be amazing, but I don't expect you to. I follow along with videos better, I feel.

That's odd. What map are you trying port and are you using any other mods?

That unfortunately did not work for me. I will await your further ported maps. I tried and tried for an hour, and like most things on Arma, I am doing it correct, but it insists on not working.

Copy paste basically.

1. Go into Documents\Arma 3 - Other Profiles\user\Saved\steam look for the original DCO mission to use as a template and extract using PBO Manager.

2. Take the mission folder and put it into Documents\Arma 3 - Other Profiles\User\missions

3. Load up Arma 3 and go into Eden Editor and load up the mission.

4. There are some assets that needs to be copied so copy all assets that's in the editor.

5. Start a new mission on a map you want and select an option to merge with the DCO missions template.

6. Copy and paste the assets anywhere on the map then save and your DCO mission is ready to be played.
