Resulting battle may vary greatly each try. War has many faces, nothing is guaranteed. You're only one of many cogs in the war machine controlled by HETMAN, so do not expect any special treatment. Those battles aren't player-centric in any way. One time you may found yourself in the middle of fierce firefight immediatelly, another time you may be kept as reserve long time before you see any action. You may die in the first few minutes or survive to the end without a single shot fired, but with few clicks in the legs. Did a quick test now, 'Whole map' with a couple of mods too but selected only the Wehrmacht + Sturmtroops against Red Army and his 'Tank faction' (can't remenber name now), and it went just fine. So, it depends on which custom faction you talking. If i remember correctly, IFA3, FOW and Northern Fronts factions should be ok to play with. Watch for custom old factions with bad config and avoid unecessary mods as it may give problems. IFA3 Liberation is a odd modpack and may give erros, even though i didnt tested it. Give another test with the bare minimun requieried.

If other WW2 mods than CUP and IFA3-AIO-Lite are installed will game not load? Have many WW2 mods . Choose Faction, but will stop loading. If i choose NATO and CSLA- no Problems.
