Mr. McMahon (Attitude Era)

Vince took over the World Wide Wrestling Federation, later dropping the 'Wide', from his father in the early 80's after initially getting involved as a promotor and commentator. McMahon built WWF into a global brand, and superstars like Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, Andre the Giant, and more became superstars.

One of McMahon's greatest creations, WrestleMania, has become the "Super Bowl of Professional Wrestling." The first event, held in 1985, was a major success, and the event has evolved into one that was initially shown on closed circuit television to one shown around the world on PPV and on the WWE Network.

McMahon has typically been involved in storylines as a heel authority figure, and most famously battled "Stone Cold" Steve Austin during the Attitude Era.

While Vince has been working mostly behind the scenes for the past several years, he is still very much involved with day-to-day operations of the business, particiularly on his flagship show and creation, Monday Night Raw.
