MBTA F7 Locomotive

All of the MBTA F-Units were originally operated by the Boston and Maine Railroad and where used for both passenger and freight service but after the B&M went bankrupt in 1983, they sold most, if not all of their equipment, property ,and rolling stock to the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) including their F-Units. By the mid to late 90s, all F-Units were pulled out of service due to their old age and high maintenance costs.
