This is my first map! So if i got anything wrong, please leave a comment.

The map is inspired by the Mid Atlantic region of the United states, specifically Maryland, Washington DC and Virginia. It contains a variety of biomes, which i compiled into one even though in real life they are much further away from each other.

On the Western side of the map there are mountains akin to the Appalachians. In the middle of the map is akin to the Atlantic seaboard fall line, which is the most habitable zone in the Eastern US. On the east of the map are many wetlands and swamps with cypress and willow trees. A large river akin to the Potomac runs through the map.

There are many trees that you have to download for this map as I researched the types of natural trees that would inhabit the region. Oaks, Beech and birtch trees are the most numerous. Additionally, I added the Cape Hatteras light on the entrance to the Harbor.

The harbor has not been completely made but the shipping lane leads to a dredged portion of the river where you may place a quay.

I reccomend using the Temperate Coast X theme as it looks best on this map and was inspired by North Carolina, which has similar geography and climate to the Mid atlantic region. Additionaly, I added the photorealistic LUT which is what I used to take the photos along with daylight classic and PosprocessFX.

This map is probably not best for people just trying to play the game, but rather for people trying to create a realistic city. There is a ring road around the building area and the resources are scarce. There is a huge amount of building space that is not completely flat but rather has hills which you will have to work around.
