More Town

I'm no longer playing HoH and don't have the time at the moment to look into updating the mods. Most of them are simple 1-3 file changes. I give permission to anyone to download, update, and reupload, as their own, any of my mods.


Size issue: To anyone having issues seeing all the tiers in the guildhall/townhall. Go into option, graphics, switch to fullscreen, and switch to 1360x768. This should let you be able to see the whole thing, and barely touch the respec button. I'll try to figure out a better solution, but it'll take some time and I might not be able to figure it out in the short term. For now this is the only option available. Sorry!



DISCLAIMER: If you unlock any of the content this mod adds, that profile can no longer be used without this mod enabled. Make sure to clone your current profile and play with this mod on the new one. Or make a fresh profile (what I recommend). Also, depending on your screen resolution you may not be able to "reach" the respect stars button at the trainer in the guild hall. Spend stars carefully.

Adds tiers 5-10. Balanced around using my other mods and leveling 2-4 characters simultaneously. Ideally you'd unlock T6 around ng+3, T7 around ng+10, T8 around ng+20, T9 around ng+30, T10 around ng+40, and have the mod maxed at around ng+50. My multiplayer group is going to consider ourselves as having beaten it when we have town all maxed out and beat ng+50. Doubled the class titles bonus for everyone except Priest and Sorcerer. Sorcerer got a 50% boost and Priest got an 87.5% boost.

Besides the class titles, I changed where the second and third chapel are located. I also changed thief's t5 fan of knives cd to .2 seconds, and all of the tiers after are .2 seconds as well.

I'm going to eventually look into more fountains and taverns, but at the moment I don't see much need/point.

I'll most likely adjust the mana values in the very near future. (Aka tonight probably).

I'll most likely adjust the values of a number of passives after more testing.


Connection Notes: If you can't connect to a multiplayer lobby with this mod, or the lobby isn't appearing, there's 2 things to check. First, make sure to be playing version [public_testing] which you can set by going to steam, right clicking Heroes of Hammerwatch, properties, betas, and then selecting it from the group down menu to opt in. If issues persist after that, close the game, unsubscribe from the mod, wait a moment, then re-subscribe. Everyone in the multiplayer group must do these steps. The issue is usually a mod hash check failure. This is usually caused by mod's becoming "corrupt". No idea what causes it, but several other mods on the workshop have this issue too. If all else fails unsubscribe from ALL the mods you're subbed to, re-open the game, close the game, then re-sub to all the mods you want again. Everyone in the multiplayer group must do these steps. This has fixed it for my group 100% of the time we've had connection issues.
