Black Reach
A brutal survival play through. You spawn on a life boat in the wreckage of Black Reach Spaceport. Your goals to win are simple.

1. Survive on limited resources
2. Scavenge and build a ship
3. Fly towards the light in search of a habitable planet
4. (Optional) find the few bits of story, find the campsite, and find hints to hidden treasure troves

About Black Reach:

Long ago I started building a space port. I had open games back then, people could visit me while I built. An unnamed 12 year old came in and destroyed my unsaved work. I work in closed games now. The space port however is born anew in a grim and depressing survival challenge. Some of you more experienced players may find it too easy. I honestly made this world for players that enjoy exploring every crevice. Think of it as an Easter egg hunt in hell. Hint: repair the LCD screen.

@peter -sorry, even if I did have the coordinates, it would be wrong to post it here on the workshop itself. also the skybox was designed to have sun rotation off; looks a bit funky other wise. Cough cough, though it ruins the spirit of the challenge nothing is stopping you from say....loading the world in private, sun rotation off, entering spectator mode and flying to the light and finding that planet. : D

Are there coordinates for the planet? Sometimes we feel the need to play with sun rotation on. Feels cheaty if you build solar farms and the sun never moves, adds more challenge and makes you have to overcome.

Its sad that space engineers is so prone to griefing that people generally have to mod the hell out of their game to leave it public or just play SP.
