描述

This script-mod add's predefined camera views for all trains (wagons inclusively).

COMPATIBILITY:
--------------------------------
not compatible with following mods:
--- New Vehicle Cameras by Smuffy

NOTE:
--------------------------------
--- There are 5 predefined camera views available (totally 6, with one default view from the vanilla game itself).

--- This script-mod is savegame compatible, you can add or remove it at anytime.

--- It will add the camera views in addition and does not overwrite already existing camera views set in vehicle.

--- This works for all vanilla and also all modded vehicles.

VIEWS:
--------------------------------
--- 1 view on of the roof.
--- 1 view from 90 deg. above.
--- 2 views right/left.
--- 1 view to the front.

HOW TO USE:
--------------------------------
Use your key's "Page Up" or "Page Down" to switch between the views.

FURTHER DEVELOPMENT:

I may update this mod with more views, like finetuning for car's, planes, ships or even peoples. I am considering to update this script to calculate the cockpit of each train to have a view out of the cockpit (work in progress).

FK. My page up-page down does not work ingame. Asus Strix. Did I say FK already?

Doesn't work. Have a regular keyboard and page up/does nothing

Wicked, your mod continues to get quite a workout on my TpF1 map. Both during normal play and when recording footage for upload. My uploads tend to use your two loco-side positions almost exclusively, though other cameras see occasional use. I alternate between this mod and its one competitor, as neither your or his loco-side cameras are ideal in every situation. Anyway, a big thumbs-up from me.

@cutting As I understand it, the only way to create the sort of camera positions you desire is to do so on a loco/train-by-loco/train basis, beyond the scope of a mod like this, which provides useful generic camera positions as alternatives to vanilla 'cab-view.' Even generic positions can sometimes go amiss (produce undesired results) with certain loco/wagon combos. I find the mod most useful, using it for train rides and while 'filming' video segments. To me, its loco-side cameras are easily preferable to vanilla 'cab-ride' view, for steam trains at least, which is all I run.

When you see in-train views in YouTube videos, it is almost certainly because those cameras are provided with the train/loco by its creator. We can, of course, create custom camera positions for individual trains/locos on our own, have we the skill. (I do not.)
