Bobby Heenan

Bobby "The Brain" Heenan was considered by many to be the greatest manager of all-time, as well as one of the best color commentators in wrestling history.

Heenan got his start in 1965 with the World Wrestling Association, and he worked for the AWA and Georgia Championship Wrestling before joining the WWF in 1984.

Heenan often managed an entire group of wrestlers known as The Heenan Family, and Heenan was often an even bigger star than who he had fighting for him in the ring. Heenan feuded with Hulk Hogan throughout much of the 80's sending multiple challengers after The Hulkster.

Heenan retired from managing in 1991 and transitioned full-time into a commentator role. He served as the heel voice on commentary for WWF until he left for WCW in 1994, and he remained in the WCW booth until 2000.

Heenan was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2004.
