Homontan Valley. I wanted to make a scenic map with decent mountains and water. Making the rivers flow properly was pretty tricky, but I'm happy with the results. Be careful of periodic flooding in the low lying areas - if you want it to stay safe you may want to put up some quays or raise buildings placed along the banks.

Connections: 2 plane, train, national highway, and boat connections

Resources: the flat valley is all fertile farmland; most of the surounding mountains are ore; and there is oil in the neighboring valley.

I'm a bit new to map making, so this -might- have been made with some non-vanilla assets - the tree asset in particular; and perhaps the 4 lane, 2-way National Road. I used the new network extensions mod and Moveit, so if there are problems loading it, leave a comment and I'll try to remake it with strictly vanilla assets.
