- Don't eat my battery

Disables VSync and allows you to control the max FPS

By default RimWorld will happily eat all it is allowed under VSYNC. What does it mean? If your monitor refresh rate is high, it will happily eat it all. That's why, if you want to open Youtube in the background or something else. RimWorld will cry and moan and want more GPU and battery in STATIC panels during a paused game.

This mod also helps poor PCs with slower video cards to not melt and saves your battery.

You should use this mod if your PC has stuttering problems or you want to listen to Youtube in the background without RimWorld crawling.

You can control how much FPS you want, maybe you want higher too. No problem, go to settings and do as you desire.

Omg, my refresh rate was at 240 all this time? No wonder it runs like shit.

@Centrelink because cpu bound game is the exact scenario where framegen shines due to low GPU load?
Like ripping at 144fps x4 speed instead of 30-40.

Seems like Odyssey broke conventional methods of capping FPS via software or NVCP, introducing frameskipping or straght up tickrate slowdowns. This mod works like a charm however.

Pretty much must have now as of 1.6 if you want to use Lossless Scaling shenanigans for targeting adaptive frame generation.

Thanks for the update. I used to use RTSS for capping FPS, but since 1.6 came out, capping FPS with either RTSS or any other means like SpecialK or NVIDIA driver was causing the game to slow down and skip frames. This mod finally let me cap FPS again :)
