描述
Adds the Mushroom Kingdom from Super Mario Bros. as a playable civilization with Peach as the leader.

UA: Devoted Subjects - Peach begins with Peach's Castle instead of a palace. Peach's Castle provides 10 happiness.

UU: Plumber - Replaces the swordsman. Gains +25% attack bonus in friendly territory and ignores terrain.

UB: Warp Pipe - Replaces the aqueduct. Causes 60% of food to carry over.

I made this mod a long time ago and never completely finished it. It's missing a couple of icons, but it's 100% playable so I wanted to go ahead and upload it. I hope you enjoy it and let me know how it plays.

The Mushroom Kingdom civ was designed to be good at maintaining small empires and pursuing culture victories. The large happiness boost from the UA allows the capitol to grow more quickly than other civs, letting you build wonders easily. Since the boost is local to the capitol, it's difficult for this civ to expand early on, making it easier to focus on the capitol and a few nearby cities. The Warp Pipe is meant to make it even easier to grow your cities and get more production quickly.

Since this civ will likely not focus on expansion and conquering, their UU is designed for strong defense. Plumbers gain bonus damage while their fighting within your borders, and their ability to ignore terrain lets them quickly respond to outside threats. (The thematic signifigance of ignoring terrain is that Mario easily travels through all kinds of different environments in the games.)

I'm not a very strong civ player, so it's difficult for me to determine balance. If you think this mod has balance issues, let me know and I'll see what I can do to fix it.

I found a bug. I was playing as a different civ, and when I finished the Tradition tree, I got free Warp Pipes instead of aqueducts. I was then able to build aqueducts in addition to the Warp Pipes, which seems like a bit of a balancing issue.

It might be good to make the Plumbers an all game unit (One that never can be upgraded, but gets a power boost when you research a new technology)

Like, since the plumber replaces swordsmen, when you research steel, instead of upgrading into longswordsmen, they upgrade into plumbers, with the only difference being higher a higher power stat to make them able to still be useful in the middle ages.

Mgtwan said it best. It would be awesome to see a band of Marios, whose attack animation should be something like jumping on the heads of the unit they're attacking, or kicking little green shells at them.

Bug report: ANY civ that completes the Tradition policy tree gets free warp pipes in their first 4 cities (instead of free aqueducts). Playing with BNK.

Also I think the warp pipe bonus is OP. Several AI players (who completed Tradition tree and so got warp pipes) had capitals with 25-35 population in Renaissance era. And warp pipe + medical lab gives 85% food bonus, which is too much.

I can not get the mod to work when I activate it I cant chose the civilization
