you don't need permission because it's something that can be done yourself:

The best thing to do right now is simply wait until someone asks the creator for permission to create a version that has Ai nodes or nav mesh. I would do it if I knew how to though

If anyone who is wondering if there is nav mesh or ai nodes the answer is no there are none
