You - What is Decent Vehicle???
We - Decent vehicle.. it's a new era for gmod's RP and vehicles.
You - What actually does it do?
We - It can do everything.

In short, this will give vehicles an ability to drive themselves.

Features:
  • Actually, it can only wander around.
  • Supports SCARs, Simfphys, LVS, and Glide vehicles.
  • Even supports VCMod, Photon 1 and 2 features.
  • Can see the environment and determine what it should do.
  • Path finding system (A* algorithm) to find fuel stations.
  • Easy to add a custom AI for developers.
  • Available in three languages: English, Japanese, and Russian.
  • New in version 1.0.4
    Generates waypoints from AI nodes.
  • New in version 1.1.0
    Wiremod support!
    You can get/set the waypoint info using Wire -> Other -> Waypoint Manager.
    Waypoint Manager is NOT saved by Save Waypoints button!
    because it's part of the wire system. Use GMod save instead.
  • New in version 1.2.0
    Support for Glide and LVS vehicles.
    LVS turret also works thanks to their built-in AI system.
    Airplanes and boats are NOT supported.
  • Police NPC will chase you if you run too fast and ask you to stop for a while.
  • And so on...

How to use in a nutshell:
  1. Make some waypoints by using Decent Vehicle Waypoint Tool.
    It's found in GreatZenkakuMan's tools.
  2. Spawn one or more vehicles which you like.
  3. Spawn Decent Vehicle. You can find it in:
    NPCs tab -> GreatZenkakuMan's NPCs -> Decent Vehicle
  4. Have fun!

Some cars swerve like crazy while driving, even with neat and regularly placed waypoints. I've largely had issues with this using glide vehicle packs that add large amounts of vehicles, like the Liberty City one.

I know the police AI is in beta, but surely there is an easy fix to the police ai driving wayyy faster than regular cars, resulting in them always crashing into a wall or flinging themselves around a corner?
