I'm guessing there's a design reason for small-grids with turrets - access to small-grid turrets perhaps? :)
I don't want to reduce the weapon count - I'll man-up and get welding.
What cunning methods do you expert builders recommend for adding all the small-grid sub-grids? So far I've tried various methods involving blueprinting the subgrids in Creative mode, and then attaching them to the rotors - but this is fraught with clanginess; I'm beginning to think it might be just as quick (and probably easier) to just weld them all up from scratch, using pictures as templates?
Much as I'd love to use an engineered solution (it is, after all, the point of the game) - I'm bustin' to go play with my new Carrier, and all these fiddly post-fixes are a wee-bit frustrating!
Anyhoo - looks like a great ship - can't wait to take it into the black.
