Street Truck & Bus Zone

描述
This mod adds 4 street types to the game. It includes truck unloading zones and bus stop zones. Each is available in medium and large street versions. These streets were created by alterating dimensions and texturing of standard Transport Fever streets.

This is a narrow version of a truck/bus zone by Nown provided in his Parking Lot mod. Though I like Nown's version, I created my own version because I wanted a slim version to use on side streets. So months ago I created a medium truck unloading zone for my own personal use. I've now taken that work and expanded it for this mod package to include both truck and bus zones in medium and large variants.

I recommend using the Truck Stop mod by Dirkel with the truck unloading zone.

it crash the game if i try to upgrade an existing road...

Looks really great. Too bad it can upgrade only one segment. Even with shift it "paints" a lot of stuff. I wanted this exactly to be able to put a truck station without the need to delete industries (like the usual truck station requires). Turns out it will be the same. But it does look much better. Thanks.

@Sir Mortimer - Your request is a good one, though I know of no way make that happen. The closest I can suggest is to hold the shift key to upgrade a specific segment of road. Typically I bite the bullet and delete buildings/road, then lay the new road and let the AI rebuild.

Would it be possible to create a version that adds one "upgradeable unit" (as it's visible in the preview of the road building menu) over a part of the existing road? I either have to delete a certain road strip with all houses attached to it, or upgrade the whole length of the street, making it effectively a "bus parking alley". Would be nice and easy if I could plop a parking bay here and there.

This mod is cool. It would be great if a pedestrian understreet crossing can be added like some of the other bus station mods in the workshop.

@davidrussell52 - Yes, that is confusing. Unfortunately, that is a limitation of that game. The game doesn't provide for a "truck stop", so Dirkel and others had to modify a bus stop for use as a truck stop. Hopefully Urban Games will accomodate such a thing as a truck stop in the future.

I thank you for your answer, will employ it properly in the future, also i wish simebody would put a truck stop with a cargo icon instead of the normal bus icon, very confusing looking for where the trucks stop and where the buses stop.
