"Dark Tower" Minimal Level 5 Starter Base and 30mm Defense Tower

This can be used either as a minimal starter base to build onto, or a standalone defense tower.

I wanted an almost absolute minimal base with a 30mm cannon so I made this. I didn't make it too tall but wanted some elevation in case you want to dig a pit to help protect the bottom part.

Features:

- 30mm Cannon
- Core, generator, fuel, and ammo box have one armored concrete block on each side of them and are buried in the foundation. Use control panel to access them.
- The central column of the tower is armored concrete with armored supports running out to the sides, so it's going to be easier to destroy the turret on top than to destroy the tower structure.
- Otherwise, armor is kept to a minimum to keep costs down. Adding more armor to the outside later is suggested if you keep anything important inside.
- Large Constructor
- O2 Station and Ventilator
- "EcoMode" to disable the constructor and inside light for a little power savings.

To use as a starter base, spawn it, throw some fuel in the tank, and immiediately make 1000 or so rounds of 30mm ammo. That will keep the drones off of you. You're safe for quite a while! Then build a solar capacitor and some solar panels to save fuel. After that, just build onto it as desired. At the very least you will want more armor around the constructor if that's where you keep your goodies. Digging a pit to place it in can also provide extra protection (that's part of why the tower part is useful).

The 30mm Cannon can usually destroy base attack drones before they can even get in range of their guns, so you won't usually have to worry about the base getting damaged (until the attack drones get more difficult anyway) unless in PvP.
