Kaiju Blue V2 (Blood and Boomer Mod)

描述
After a very long delay Kaiju Blue V2 is now ready, textures based on Blood Overhaul by Phaeton. I'll be releasing another mod that will include the Smoker and Spitter particles and a few other textures to complete the pack. This is to be used as a base just in case it conflicts with other mods. :)

Also wanted to thank Revenant100 for uploading and editing the Beta Boomer mod. I took a look to see how it worked and it really helped me finish the boomers textures and effects. :)

No firewall, and it's not a bug... Because when i get a mod that overrides like a VPK, that I manually install, it works perfectly. So...

Dang, I have honestly no idea what to say. Is it just blood mods that do this? I have no idea what would cause something like I'm sorry. Is Windows Firewall blocking Steam or LF4D? Or it could be a bug in LF4D I have no idea sorry.

I've tried it all, didn't work. This has been a persisting issue for a long time now

Hmmmmm... That is very odd. Have you tried verifying the game cache/files? Only other thing I could think of doing is reinstalling LF4D 2 unless there is something else going on. I don't know I haven't really had any issues with addons.

Well I tried doing that.... it didn't exactly work as I did find the VPK and tried to copy it to override. But that didn't work. Wouldn't even read it. And for some reason? I tried to find out about this one issue. There is nothing editing blood textures in my game. But for some reason when I install blood mods they don't work. Which is why I override. But since this won't read, I can't override to get to work

Ah okay. A few things you can try is to unsub and resub to the mod, I know there are bugs in the workshop for L4D2 that sometimes it doesn't read or has to re-download all mods every so often. (Which is on Steam's end.) Another thing is that it might be conflicting with another mod that uses particles or textures. If you're addons are red then something might be conflicting with it and you might have to disable a mod or two, let me know if any of this helps. -Lampy
