Re-Agent (Adrenaline)

"So West, what kind of medicine are you involved in?"
"Death."

Dr. Herbert West was of course famous for his meticulous and ethically questionable crusade to cheat death, keeping bodies functioning past their expiration date. While there's certainly no shortage of fresh corpses being supplied to the player in Left 4 Dead, there's certainly a shortage of abilities to utilize West's iconic serum on the infected. However, our survivors are obviously not prone to giving up and have bravely taken it upon themselves to use their own living bodies as the test subjects for this mysterious re-agent in the name of medical science.

Interestingly enough, it seems that re-agents used to vitalize corpses only seem to make the already-vitalized subjects more energetic. Hmmm. -scribbles notes on clipboard-

From HP Lovecraft's chilling tale "Herbert West - Reanimator" (or the movie, if you're one of those people), the death-defying serum pioneered by the titular doctor makes its way to Left 4 Dead 2 in the form of the adrenaline shots you're all so eager to plunge into your skin.
