Earth Republic Ship Strategos BB 77 - Flagship of the Earth Republic Navy

Battle-ready vanilla-only Heavy Cruiser / Battleship class.

Tower block configuration, with overall pyramidal form.

H2 Thrusters. Main Engine on aft section and in four integrated nacelles. H2/O2 Generators enable refuelling.

6 Decks. Vertical Passageway system for transport between decks. Intuitive controls assigned to proper command consoles. In general, specialized blocks 1, and with odd numbers are on the port (left) side, and blocks 2 and with even numbers are on the starboard (right) side. Helm stations are on the starboard side of the Bridge and CCS.

Jump capable, with main and backup Jump Drives, controlled from the Bridge (Deck 5) and CCS (Deck 3) Helm stations, commands page 2,

Airlocks, both complete and "simple". Complete airlocks have vents to depressurize prior to the doors opening. Triggering the first button you come to when approaching a complete airlock will perform the most likely function you want, either depressurize or pressurize, then switch the locks on the doors. If the doors are still locked push the same button you pushed before and you will unlock the correct door.

The O2 tanks connected to airlocks slowly fill when airlock is active. Full tanks prevent proper function of airlocks. To fix this, in this order, turn off "O2 tanks regular" and ""O2/H2 generators", and turn on "O2 tanks airlocks", then overide a locked airlock door to vent the ship a few times until the "O2 tanks airlocks" are empty. Then turn those blocks back to their previous setting in the reverse order (if "O2 tanks airlocks" and "O2/H2 generators" are on at the same time, the tanks will fill rapidly, and you'll have to repeat the process). Simple airlocks are simply two adjacent sliding doors with vacuum on the other side.

Depressurization capable. Reccomended to depressurize the ship prior to large battles, to eliminate the threat of violent decompression. Trigger "Depressurize" and "Pressurize" Timers for this function. Tanks connected to this system fill similarly to airlock tanks. To empty them, follow the same steps, but substitue "O2 tanks depressurize" for "O2 tanks airlocks".

Docking connectors are located on beams extending farthest to port and starboard, colored yellow and royal blue. Cockpits enable precise docking control.

2 Blocks minimum thickness Heavy Armor. Black paint for camouflage. White Heavy Armor structural sections, white Light Armor bulkheads and decks.

Assemblers, refineries, generators, and all vanilla assembly blocks and modules arranged forward of main engineering, on Decks 2 and Deck 3.

Light Blue - Crew Quarters. Passage tubes and cargo containers as bunks and lockers.

Red - Weapons and Command areas. Red Passage tubes go to Bridge and Gun decks (Decks 2 and 5).

Orange - Engineering, Main Engineering on Deck 3. 8 yellow Nuclear Reactors (Main Reactors) provide power. 8 Light blue Main H2 Tanks in are in engineering, and light blue conveyors show fuel lines.

Black - Command Centers, Command Crew Quarters (Deck 4), Main Bridge (Deck 5), Central Command Station (CCS, Deck 3). Outer hull ; if you remove inner white blocks and reach a black block, vacuum will likely be on the other side.

Green - Observation Deck (Deck 6) Not the bridge. Designed to make an enemy think it is the bridge, but it is actually the science and observaion station. !! Evacuate this deck during battle !! It is likely be hit hard.

Blue-Green - Sickbay, medical station (Deck 3), Emergency medical station (Deck 1, Hangar Bay fwd)

Royal Blue - Flight Deck Control Center (Deck 1, Hangar Bay aft)

Yellow - General Caution. Depressurization Warning. The next door past this one will be open to vacuum.

Checkered Yellow Black- Watch out for moving parts. Hangar Flight Deck. Trigger "Hangar Bay" Timer to activate Hangar Doors, Landing Pad Lights, Landing Pad Trail lights and change "Ball" (flight deck clearance/permission to land) from red (landing prohibited) to flashing green (landing permitted)

42 Missile Turrets, arranged on 8 top, 6 bottom, and 2 abeam (Broadside) batteries. Weapons control is on the Bridge and CCS Helm stations, commands page 4

42 Gatling Turrets, with 8 on the roof of the Observation Deck (Deck 6) designated "critical" for targeting incoming missiles, and covering the bridge. Weapons control is on the Bridge and CCS Helm stations, commands page 4

12 Forward Facing Rocket Launchers, to be used as the primary ship-killing weapon. Sustained bursts of these launchers when fully loaded stand a good chance of crippling targeted enemy systems. Weapons control is on the Bridge and CCS Helm stations, commands page 4

Cameras covering all directions - use forward (fwd, and bridge fwd) cameras to zoom in and target ships with FF Rocket Launchers.
