Herdsman

描述
This mod adds the herdsman to your game similar to the one in Civ V (made by whoward69). The herdsman has these features:

1. He can go to a tile with cows, sheep, horses, elephants, and other animals (see list below) and pick them up as long as they are not in someone else's city. When he picks the herd up, he spawns a second herdsman who carries the animals to another tile of your choice. You can pick any tile as long as it is not in someone else's city (see number 3 for other limitations on tile choice).

2. The herdsman has two charges. After he picks up the second herd, he will disappear.

3. The animal-carrying herdsman can only settle the herd on a tile of the type the herd is ordinarily found on. When it is settled within city borders, your workers can build the corresponding pasture/camp on the tile the animals are settled on. Each herd will provide the bonus typical of its type (horses give food and production, elephants give an amenity, and so on).

For reference, these are the ordinary places the animals can be found/placed:
Cows - Flat Grassland
Horses - Flat Grassland and Plains
Sheep - Grassland Hills, Plains Hills, Desert Hills, Tundra Hills
Elephants - Flat Desert, Flat Plains, Forest, Jungle
Reindeer - Tundra, Tundra Hills, Snow, Snow Hills
Cashmere - Tundra, Tundra Hills
Camels - Flat Desert
Dairy Goats (cheese) - All hills except snow hills
Oxen - Flat Grassland

4. The first herdsman costs 100 production (twice the cost of a worker), and after that, the cost increases by 25 production per herdsman built.

5. The herdsman unlocks at Animal Husbandry.

6. The herdsman can also remove improvements and features on a tile (like workers do). Removing a feature takes up one of his charges - so unless you want him to lose a charge doing something a worker can do, don't tell him to pick up a herd that is in a pasture.

7. He cannot be purchased. Your city must make him.

8. Unfortunately, the AIs are too stupid to use herdsmen properly. This makes the character a bit of a cheat. On the other hand, the AI can build cities in desert hills that don't seem to lack for houses or food - now you can too.

9. If you really need a bonus, the herdsman combines very successfully with the Magnus exploit (that shamefully has not been restricted even after it was identified long ago).

10. If the herdsman is "attacked" by an enemy troop, he will be flipped so that he belongs to the attacker's nation. If the herdsman with an animal is attacked by an enemy troop, he will turn into a worker that belongs to the attacking nation.

Notes

Forest (woodland) deer that people hunt are not domesticated herd animals. Therefore, the herdsman cannot pick them up. If you are interested in deer that people have domesticated, please check our Workshop for the Reindeer mod - the herdsman can herd reindeer.

well this mod has ruined my save, the ai just spam these and just keep the lux in a state of no use, so now no amenities for ai

I use this in every game. I probably only ever need one herdsman but I really like it.

Great Mod! It allows one with a bit of investment to rustle herd animals from some unfortunate random hexes to much more conveniently useful hexes.

I've NOT used it for this purpose yet, but I'm constructing another herdsman right now to move some horses OFF a hex within my city that is perfect for a Campus. There's also the possibility I may try the second incarnation to get a herd out of what would make a GREAT holy site.
