Welcome to my Crypsis Collection.
Crypsis is the ability of an animal to avoid observation or detection by other animals. It may be a predation strategy or an antipredator adaptation.
The FAMAS from the Ghost Insects series is available in the Prisma Case.

The first pattern of the Crypsis series. It shows branches and leaves but there are only insects on the pattern. They are the Ghost Insects from the the phasmatodea order, masters of camouflage. This is an antipredator adaptation : you can't see them.

Second pattern of the Crypsis series. It shows beautiful flowers growing on branches and roots but there are no flowers on the pattern. They are orchid mantises using their crypsis ability to attract and grasp preys. This is a predation strategy : attractive traps.
