Beachside Gladio

Here’s another beachy outfit for Gladio~ his jacket and necklace actually move around! :D

I used another armature, the one with all insane amount of bones, which allowed me to retain the weights of his jacket and necklace (it’s not 100% perfect though). Using the new armature also came with a host of problems I had to work through… None worse than the dreaded neck seam! It came back with a vengeance and I tried my best to fight it and get it to a level where it wasn’t that noticeable (by neck seam I mean where the preloaded head meets with the mod). For some reason there was a split between the mod and neck that formed despite the piece working with the old armature.

I removed some of the details on Gladio’s jacket (like the patches) so it looks a little better with its new white coloring. His shorts were originally the pants from his casual outfit.

It’s probably instantly noticeable, but I also redid my whole texturing set-up, so now a lot more texture maps are represented as best as they can be by the Mod Builder!

Overall I’m quite happy with how this turned out and hope you all enjoy it :)


IMPORTANT: This and most other mods look much better with ambient occlusion turned off (eliminates some of the weird lighting and artifacts)..
