Although the higher the magnification, the less accuracy could be expected, since the extra-magnification means it's not as aligned as default. Still, pretty accurate enough if you use no mod on your sight.
Sometimes I pick Mk14 just for this reason when the server gives me lesser points. I can just use C79/x4 instead of MK4 scope and still have similar magnification than having MK4 on other weapon. When 1 point makes huge difference in maps that require long-range shooting.
Plus it looks cooler.
